I also wanted to say that I know I have been a little quiet here on the blog lately.  The truth is that I have been working very hard behind the scenes!   Preparing for the Spirits in Sanford Halloween show really kept me burning the midnight oil and honestly, I am still burning the candle from both ends now that Christmas is around the corner.  You will find that my Website and Etsy store are now updated with tons of wonderful and unique Halloween items.  Yes, yes, I know, Halloween has now come and gone.  That is ok!  There are still those collectors that love to display their treasures all throughout the year, and those that purchase throughout the year as well.  So, really, there is no such thing as "late".  LOL   Speaking of Halloween, I have also come to the conclusion that trying to keep up a separate blog for my Halloween themed items is just too much on my plate.  Not only that, trying to keep up with a separate Halloween identity is also too much to worry about.  So, as a result and a lot of thinking, from here on out the Halloween portion will be just that....The Pixie Knoll~ Halloween.   For the life of me, I do not know why I wanted to build up another image when I am really happy enough with this one.  :-P  It makes no sense at all to go through all of the trouble.  Of course, I am always willing to listen to feedback regarding the issue.  And, if someone can convince me otherwise, I might be willing to listen.  Until then, I think it would be best to just do what I have been doing all along.  And, with that note, I will give you a small sampling of some of the items that I have left from the Spirits in Sanford show.  To see more, please check out my website or Etsy store. www.thepixieknoll.com
Pumpkin goblin figures!

Some wonderful gourd art!  I sold all of them except for the fun Scarecrow pumpkin faced gourd on the far left!

Gourd Candy dishes that I also sold!

A close-up of the Haunted House gourd vase that sold.  The image wraps all the way around the gourd to complete a story of trick-or-treaters coming and going from the haunted house!

Bat ornaments!

Spooky Spider ornaments!

Swamp witches and Wicked Witches!

Now, for all of those wonderful collectors who are patiently waiting for their special commissions to finish off the year,  I thank you for your patience and understanding with letting me get through my show commitments.  I am pleased to say that I am almost back on track and everyone will have their special treasures right on time as I promised.  Soon, I will have some pictures to share with you of the completed projects, and with luck, maybe one or 2 extra ones thrown into the mix as well!  And, before you know it, it will be time to prepare for the upcoming year show season once again.  I have a lot of wonderful items planned out for the near year so I'll be busy creating non-stop in preparation for the Quinlan Doll and Teddy Bear show in Philadelphia and the International Doll and Teddy Show in North Carolina.  I'm so excited about the new pieces I have planned, but I'll save that tidbit of information for a later date!

With that said, I want to thank all of you for your patience and not abandoning my blog this year.  As you all know, it's been a super rough year for me personally in my private life and surprisingly I have managed to hold it together for the most part.  The Halloween show and commissions have really helped to keep me focused and get me through the rough days that I have had to deal with of late. Again, I just wanted to personally thank all of you for not giving up on me here.

As always, thank you for following along here at The Pixie Knoll!  Have a great day folks!
